SponsorMatch is a match-making marketplace for sponsorships. It brings organisers and sponsors closer together and operates as a mash-up between a funding- and dating platform for organisers and companies in their quest for interesting, well defined audience targeted sponsoring opportunities.

How do I get started with SponsorMatch?
Beforeyou can use SponsorMatch, you will need a SponsorMatch account. You will alsoneed to have an administrative VAT-number for the account. The creation of anaccount is very easy, just sign up to a new account by linking your socialmedia account or using your personal e-mail address and password.
Why do I need a VAT-number for my account?
you will not be able to sell sponsor packages without a legal VAT-number of your organization. This VAT number is also used for administrative purposes such as the sponsoring agreement, invoice, etc..
Is there a cost to create an SponsorMatch event profile / sponsor project profile and sponsor packages?
There is no cost whatsoever to create a profile page and sponsor packages. However, once you have sold a sponsor package, SponsorMatch charges a success fee per sponsor package for each package you sell, based on the pricing of the package that has been sold. Do I need to get approval before I create an event in SponsorMatch?
You must first have an account. You will also need an administrative, legal VAT-number for this account.
You don’t need an approval first, but the creation of new accounts are monitored.
Who is eligible to use SponsorMatch?
Everybody over 18 - and thus major - are eligible to use SponsorMatch.

How does SponsorMatch handle the sponsorship agreements?

What is Stripe?
The integrated payment provider system Stripe (https://stripe.com) combines a quick approval and looks after your payments of your sponsor deals.
How do I receive payments for sold sponsor packages?
SponsorMatch uses https://stripe.com as its payment gateway provider. While creating your account on SponsorMatch you will be contacted by email of Stripe.com to enter and confirm your payment settings.
How long does it take to receive the money of my sponsor on my bank account?
Once you have sold a sponsor package, the amount will be put on your account within 7 days. For more info about these payments and pricing visit our a href="https://sponsormatch.eu/en/pricing">pricing web page. Sponsors can choose whatever payment method they want to use to buy a sponsor package.
How are discounts calculated that were granted by the organiser if sponsoring more than one edition?
As an organiser you can add/grant extra reductions for 2 or 3 editions towards your future sponsor while creating your sponsor package.
You can then add a discount per edition (or year, with a maximum of 3 editions/years)
F.e. the price of you sponsor package for 1 edition/year is 100 EUR. If the sponsor decides to sponsor 2 editions you want him to receive 5% discount on the 2nd edition and .. Additionally 10% on the 3rd edition if he decides to sponsor for 3 editions or 3 years in a row. The discounts are calculated as follows :
1st edition (no discount) = 100 EUR
2nd edition (5% discount) = 95 EUR
3rd edition (10% discount) = 90 EUR
So for the 3 editions/years there's a total discount of 15 EUR or a total amount of 285 EUR instead of 300 EUR (VAT excluded)
This will be mentioned like this in the contract and on the invoicing.
PS : The discounts mentioned as percentages next to the editions (during the buying process) are discounts per edition and not on the total amount itself. These discount amounts can change per edition as the organiser can choose to use an ascending discount strategy if the sponsor wants to pay for a package including 2 or even 3 editions in a row at the same time.
Can I use SponsorMatch on Windows and Mac computers?
Yes you can. SponsorMatch is compatible with most Windows and Apple software and linked internet browsers.
How secure is SponsorMatch?
SponsorMatch is secure enough to accept credit card payments because of the cooperation with Mollie.com, the payment gateway provider of SponsorMatch. A secure internet connection is also recognizable by the web address starting with https:// or by the green lock shown.
What can SponsorMatch do for you as an organizer of events or your society?
SponsorMatch offers you a helicopter view through a central platform where you can easily manage and follow-up your sponsor deals.

SponsorMatch lets you promote your sponsor packages online in an easy way through social media.
Can I also sell sponsor packages through my own website?
SponsorMatch easily integrates your sponsor packages effectively on your own website and through your own social media channels by using the embedded HTML code.
When can I start creating sponsor packages?
Once you have a SponsorMatch account, you can create your event/sponsor project and add your sponsor packages.
What types of event(s) can I create in SponsorMatch?
All type of events, sponsor projects, individual or group sponsor projects can be created in SponsorMatch as long as they match our terms and conditions.
Any restrictions on the type of event I can create?
You can create any type of event in SponsorMatch. There is no restriction on the type of event you can create as long as they match our terms and conditions.
Is there a limit on how many sponsor packages I can create? Or the amount?
There is no limit to the number of sponsor packages you can create and link to your event or sponsor project. The amount of each sponsor package will be limited per 100.000 EUR, all sponsor packages together the overall limit per profile will be set at 400.000 EUR.
Can I create a private event in SponsorMatch?
Yes. When you create your event profile, you can choose from various privacy settings. You can also choose wether you want to show the pricing of your sponsor package or not.
How can I promote my event or sponsor project via SponsorMatch?
After you created your event/sponsor project profile page , you will have the possibility to share your linked sponsor packages with all your managed social media accounts. You will even have the possibility to embed them on your own website as a built-in sponsor package webshop.
